Jacksonville Kia is seeking a skilled and efficient Automotive Express Technician to join our automotive service team. The ideal candidate will have a strong vehicle maintenance background and be able to perform quick and accurate services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and basic vehicle inspections. The Automotive Express Technician plays a crucial role in providing prompt and quality service to our customers.

Automotive Express Technician Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues
Mount, balance, and rotate tires as needed
Inspect tire tread depth and recommend replacements when necessary
Replace air filters, cabin air filters, and fuel filters based on manufacturer recommendations
Test vehicle batteries and replace as necessary
Advise customers on brake services and replacements as needed
Document all services performed accurately and maintain service records
Inspect brake systems for wear and tear
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Other duties assigned
Automotive Express Technician Requirements:
Previous experience as a technician, particularly in quick service or express maintenance, is preferred
Proficient in performing routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes and tire services
ASE certification or relevant certifications in automotive maintenance is a plus
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with vehicle owners
Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians, service advisors, and support staff
Ability to identify and address basic automotive issues during inspections
Valid driver’s license
Must pass pre-employment background screenings
