Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and facilities to identify potential hazards, including water damage, mold, and structural weaknesses.
Mitigation Implementation: Develop and implement mitigation plans to reduce risks and impacts of identified hazards, such as water extraction, mold remediation, and fire damage restoration.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of inspections, mitigation plans, and compliance with safety standards; communicate effectively with clients and insurance representatives.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, environmental scientists, and other professionals to ensure coordinated efforts in risk management and safety compliance.
Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to clients, guiding them through the mitigation process and addressing their concerns during stressful situations.
Training and Education: Conduct training sessions for staff on safety protocols and emergency procedures to promote a culture of safety within the organization.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in environmental science, engineering, or a related field is preferred. IICRC Certification desired.
Experience: Previous experience in risk assessment, hazard analysis, or mitigation planning is beneficial.
Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards relevant to the industry, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in tight spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
