Residential Shift Supervisor | Gándara Center

Job Summary:
The Residential Shift Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a therapeutic environment within the residence and in the community. The role includes leading multiple age groups, implementing individual Level Plan objectives, and ensuring compliance with policies and safety protocols. Supervisors provide leadership during shifts, manage documentation, and handle emergency situations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that applicable rules, policies and procedures are followed on shifts.
Provide leadership to the shift team.
Implement each client’s Level Plan objectives under the direction of the Clinical and Program Supervisors.
Ensure all necessary documentation for the shift is completed accurately and submitted for review.
Respond to emergency situations safely and appropriately.
Develop strong, supportive relationships with clients and employees.
Provide for client care and safety, observing all safety measures.
Plan and implement crisis interventions with clients.
Notify the Program Director immediately in case of client crisis, suspected illegal activity, or any incident.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director or Program Director.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or related field; 2 years preferred.
Excellent leadership skills and at least two years of supervisory experience.
At least two years of experience in Human Services working with adolescents.
Valid driver’s license and meeting agency driving history requirements.
Pass a CORI within standards identified by EEC.
Availability of a vehicle to transport clients or support services.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish/English).
