Job Description SBM Management is currently hiring a
Custodial Lead
to join their team. The Custodial Lead oversees activities within the assigned program, working with company employees and temporary staff in custodial, clean room, recycle, moves, and maintenance settings. The role requires adherence to safe work practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
Perform duties of employees within the program.
Assist with training employees in tasks, safety, policies, and procedures.
Coordinate and monitor work activities.
Prepare written reports, such as pass‑down, weekly, or monthly.
Perform quality, service, and safety inspections.
Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair.
Track supplies inventory and maintenance.
Issue equipment and supplies.
Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, supplies, and equipment.
Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor.
Correct at‑risk behavior immediately, then report to the supervisor immediately.
Report accidents and incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement.
Maintain records such as training, inspections, and data collection.
Qualifications
One to three months’ related experience and/or training; high school diploma or GED; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Fluent in English and Spanish.
Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle registered in applicant name; job requires driving (mileage reimbursed); able to use a computer and basic functions.
Good written and verbal skills, excellent customer service, time‑management skills, and training abilities.
Use of forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus.
MUST have prior lead/management experience.
Driver's License Required.
Compensation:
$18.50–$19.00 per hour
Shift:
Mon–Fri 1:30 pm–10:00 pm
