About the Role As a Material Program Manager (MPM), you will be accountable for all Global Supply Chain (GSC) activities on Global Patriot GEM‑T Programs. The successful candidate will be a great team‑builder, work with various systems and people and operate in a matrix environment to deliver business results. The role encompasses the complete Program life cycle from capture through execution and sustainment [Gates 4‑11] and requires an ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment.
What You Will Do:
Represent GSC and serve as the GSC interface to the Program Management Office (PMO).
Report GSC program status and communicate critical issues to external and internal customers, as well as offering solutions and implementing corrective action(s).
Prepare monthly material sales forecasts, utilizing the Material Forecast Tool (MFT), including interface and alignment with IPTs, Procurement and FP&A Teams, and perform a monthly forecast variance analysis.
Implement proactive management of material sales Risk & Opportunity, utilizing the Risk & Opportunity Management (ROM) Tool to ensure predictability.
Support Program offset and/or localization efforts, including direct and indirect project identification and international supplier assessment and development.
Support GSC new Program start‑up activities, including development of the Material Program Plan (MPP), Contract Flow‑Through Brief (CFB) and baselining activities.
Support bottoms‑up proposal management, including PMER kick‑offs, and engaging with the LADS Central Proposals Team to support the capture plan and management of GSC proposal content, including CAPA supplier management.
Support Program audits (internal and external), including USG Material Pricing Audits and Program Definitization.
Support EXIM licensing requirements and Part 130 Sweeps.
Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally as required.
Qualifications You Must Have:
A university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
Experience with MRP systems; including but not limited to PRISM and KINAXIS.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or similar.
Experience with budget and Earned Value (EV) management, Risk & Opportunity Management (ROM) Tool, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), and/or proposals.
MPM Level 4 Certification or ability to obtain within one (1) year.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and presentation) and the ability to work and succeed in a matrix environment.
Must be a self‑starter, capable of implementing functional and program objectives, and able to interface with all levels of internal management and, as required, supplier management.
Must be able to succeed in the high‑stress, fast‑paced development environment.
Excellent time management skills and the ability to assign the appropriate priorities to often conflicting tasks.
A working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
