Meaningful Works
The Studio Manager is the heart of the studio. Part cub-scout leader, part party planner, part executive assistant, part operations manager, this job will never be the same from one day to another.
Day to day duties may include:
Ordering studio supplies to make sure everyone has everything they know they need and some things they don’t know they need.
Onboarding new employees, buying their equipment and setting them up with our benefits program.
Hospitality for executives and clients in the office, really important to us.
Light tidying and cleaning around the kitchen area to make sure we are presenting our best selves to clients.
Planning parties for the staff.
Managing the culture committee budget and plans.
Meeting and greeting guests and being the first point of contact for anyone new in the studio.
Managing all studio operations, ensuring the space runs smoothly and efficiently each day.
Overseeing vendor relationships (cleaning crews, IT support, maintenance providers, supply partners).
Coordinating service schedules, and maintaining vendor records.
Maintaining studio-wide systems such as security access, parking, equipment tracking, technology, and room booking.
Supporting MW Partners with executive administrative support, including scheduling, coordination, and occasional ad-hoc tasks that help the partners stay focused on the work.
The right person will…
Experience in studio management, executive assistant, or other similar hospitality role.
A “yes and” mentality and never thinks “not my job.”
Organization on both big and small scales.
Take pride in their work.
Get excited about creating a smooth running studio machine.
Be self‑directed and never “wait for someone to tell them to do something for the studio.”
