What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Record and generate information pertaining to the patient revenue process to ensure accurate reimbursement
Develop and maintain relationships with customers to resolve issues and optimize satisfaction
Operate general office equipment and manage clerical duties, including data entry and letter generation
Ensure compliance with established policies and standards while maintaining high production levels
Work independently and make decisions regarding individual work activities
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of a high school education; some postsecondary education preferred
Two years of experience in hospital access, physician office, billing, and collections, or equivalent experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to analyze data and perform multiple tasks independently
Strong interpersonal skills to develop professional relationships with patients and colleagues
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Additional training or working knowledge of business-related concepts
Familiarity with the healthcare revenue cycle and patient access processes
