Job Description: The Job Coach implements and maintains effective job coaching services for persons served, preparing them for external employment opportunities through structured intervention techniques. Support individuals in learning and performing work-related tasks and meeting specific job requirements. Conduct assessments, provide counseling and advocacy, and deliver services in alignment with a comprehensive 100% intervention plan. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and policies, and provide training to staff and persons served on safety practices as needed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide feedback to the Case Manager on client progress. Transport clients and staff to job sites. Deliver individualized job coaching based on client needs and goals. Support client job satisfaction and self-monitoring skills for community placement. Maintain confidentiality, records, and required documentation. Model professionalism, dignity, and respect. Ensure a safe and healthy work environment. Attend required meetings and trainings. Collaborate effectively with staff and represent Villa Esperanza professionally. Perform other duties as assigned. Villa's Employment Services program takes a person-centered approach. We collaborate with the individual and their circle of support to gather necessary information for developing a job that aligns with the individual's wants and needs. The program offers potential participants the opportunity to match their skills and job preferences with suitable work assignments. Schedules: Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun; schedule varies between the hours of 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM (20 - 35 hours/week). Compensation: $20.00 - $21.00/hour Qualifications/Minimum Requirements: obtain a High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience assisting special needs individuals; 1 year preferred. Ability to successfully pass a DOJ/FBI fingerprint background check through the Community Care Licensing/Dept. of Social Services. Satisfactorily complete physical and Tuberculosis (TB) screenings.
