We’re looking for full‑time Automotive Assistant and Service Managers to join Team Mavis at one of our state‑of‑the‑art automotive service and retail tire sales centers in the Roxbury Township, NJ area. With over 2,000 retail locations, Mavis is one of the largest tire sales and automotive repair chains in the United States.

About the Position of Assistant Manager As a future leader of Mavis, the Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager to ensure each Mavis retail location operates efficiently, safely and effectively. Using fundamental leadership skills, Assistant Managers are responsible for enforcing established policies, procedures and standards; scheduling mechanics/technicians’ work, managing outside orders; ensuring the quality and timely completion of jobs; meeting customer expectations; and maintaining the safety of team members.

About the Position of Service Manager The Service Manager is responsible for assisting customers with tire selections and recommending necessary under‑car repair services. They ensure complete customer satisfaction by delivering timely, high‑quality vehicle repair and maintenance, directing the workflow of Mechanics, Alignment Technicians and Tire Technicians, and staging vehicle repair/maintenance work. While driving Mavis’s sales initiatives, Service Managers communicate directly with customers, assess customer needs, provide information regarding requested repairs, ensure customers are satisfied with their in‑store experience, and strive to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications We recruit team members who share our commitment to providing complete customer satisfaction and delivering the highest quality service. To be eligible for the position of Automotive Assistant / Service Manager, you must:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Possess one year of experience and/or training in automotive parts and/or tire sales, one year of experience and/or training in automotive repairs/maintenance, or any combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
