Hatchery Embrex Crew Sanitation 3rd Shift

Description
Shift: 3rd Shift | Pay: $16.00 | Hours: 1:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Key Responsibilities
De-stack and clean chick boxes and all embrex related materials and/or machinery.
Sanitize room/area completely.
Sanitize all boxes, tray washer(s), and embrex equipment.
De-stack dirty chick boxes and load into tray wash with 140+ degree water and approved sanitizer.
Run boxes through tray washer and dip tank, and stack properly per PPC requirements to achieve the greatest amount of drying possible.
Run “Needles Cylinder” to check all needles, replace if needed. Check for clogged needles while fluid is flowing on clean cycle and clean it with wire in cup.
Scrub equipment with dish soap and rinse; fill 5 gal “Clean Jug” with R/O water (3 gal), put on sanitizer side, take hose out of sanitizer and put in clean jug, press sanitizer screen; run for at least 3 minutes or until water runs out.
If needed, empty and rinse tray and drainage reservoir.
Ensure all areas are cleaned and sanitized before ending process.
All other assigned tasks.
Work Environment / Physical Demands
Ability to lift overhead up to 50 pounds.
Work in a heated environment (80°F–100°F).
Stand for extended periods.
Work in fast‑paced environment with repetitive motion.
Ability to work overtime as assigned.
Frequently involves lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reaching forward, pulling, and stretching.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Experience / Work History
Good hand‑eye coordination.
EOE, including disability/vets.
