(MWH), is currently seeking an experienced Journeyman Plumber to support critical construction projects near Salem, OR. Essential Functions

Adhere to the Slayden Safety Program.

Coordinate with mechanical superintendent to configure pipe system layout.

Select proper pipes, hangers, and other hydraulic cylinders.

Assemble large mechanical processed pipe.

Cut, thread, and hammer pipes according to pipe system specs.

Use saws and cutting torches to craft proper sizes.

Secure pipes to walls and fixtures using brackets, clamps, tools, or welding equipment.

Secure pipes to tanks.

Set Process Equipment (pumps, mixers, heat exchangers).

Repair and maintain pipe systems and components.

Resolve problems such as obstructions or holes.

Remove water from flooded manholes or basements.

Repair cracks and leaks.

Interpret plans, blueprints, and sketches of proposed structures in terms of the relevant specifications.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Must have an Oregon Journeyman Plumbing license.

Experience with flanged pipe and fittings.

Previous work includes HDPE, Ductile, PVC and copper pipe.

Maintains a constant drive to achieve production outputs in order to meet targets.

Required to communicate information, ideas, directions, with the capability to perform the task or project discussed.

Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and with utmost regard to safety.

Pre‑employment drug screening and background checks required.

If requested, the applicant shall furnish a written statement from a medical doctor that he/she has had a physical examination in connection with the application and is physically fit to perform the work.
