Responsibilities

Install, recondition, repair, and troubleshoot various types of mechanical, electrical, and process control equipment.

Rebuild equipment to meet original manufacturer standards and specifications, ensuring proper clearances and tolerances.

Install rotating equipment and perform precision tool use and laser alignments.

Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.

Utilize industrial shop tools, portable tools, instruments, and calibrators safely and effectively.

Learn about carbon fiber and composite material manufacturing, associated equipment, and maintenance best practices.

Test designs and solutions in real‑life applications.

Present updates on projects at weekly team meetings.

Work part‑time (20‑30 hours/week) while attending college, with potential to work up to 40 hours during class breaks.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent program at Greenville Technical College.

Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher throughout the program.

Strong academic standing and attendance in the technical program.

Attach current transcript or high‑school transcript if applicable.

Pass pre‑employment screening (physical, background check, drug test, respirator fit).

Work safely in a safety‑sensitive environment.

Reliable transportation.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Physical ability to: stand and walk on concrete floor 75% of the time; lift and carry up to 50 lbs; push or pull up to 100 lbs; climb stairs, ladders, or platforms; work at heights; stoop, kneel, crouch; inspect and assess product quality.

Experience working around hazardous chemicals, using a respirator or self‑contained breathing apparatus (SCBA).
