Instrument Maintenance Instructor / Oil & Gas
Within our Energy division, you will be involved in a project related to the Oil & Gas sector and will be responsible for the designing and delivering theoretical and practical training courses targeted at apprentices, maintenance technicians, and operations teams. The role will train personnel in process instrumentation maintenance and calibration, fault diagnosis, loop management, and asset integrity, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and productivity standards as well as sector regulations.
Do you have a degree in Electronics Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical sector? You can join the Energy team and work on various projects while getting to know different realities.
About you
5+ years of hands‑on experience in process instrumentation maintenance in Oil & Gas (onshore/offshore), with familiarity with pressure/temperature/level transmitters, analyzers, sensors and process control systems;
Previous experience as a trainer or instructor is preferred;
Experience delivering training in offshore Oil & Gas contexts;
Strong knowledge of process instrumentation, control loops, cabling, 4‑20 mA signals, field communications (HART, FOUNDATION Fieldbus, Profibus/DeviceNet) and instrument diagnostics;
Proficiency in using calibration and diagnostic tools, and in reading instrumentation and electrical schematics;
Knowledge of Oil & Gas safety regulations (LOTO, PTW, permit‑to‑work) and safety standards related to instrumentation (IEC 61511/ISA‑18/ISA‑5 and local regulations); familiarity with ATEX/IECEx in operational contexts.
Strong communication, organizational and classroom‑management skills; team‑oriented, problem‑solving mindset and ability to manage training programs.
Good knowledge of English language.
