Job Overview We are currently seeking experienced Mig/Flux Pipe Welders to join our team in Tulsa, OK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with a focus on pipe welding. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive pay and benefits.
Pay is $27-$30 per hour DOE and quality of test.
Key Responsibilities
Perform Mig and Flux Core welding on various types of pipes, including carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders, grinders, and cutting torches
Inspect welds for accuracy and quality, making necessary adjustments as needed
Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Collaborate with other team members to ensure project deadlines are met
Communicate effectively with supervisors and project managers regarding progress and any issues that may arise
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass a pre-employment welding test
