Tulsa, Ok: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a skilled Welder to perform high-quality welding work on 2” S160 materials. The ideal candidate will be proficient in either the MIG/Flux Core process with open root, fill, and cap or the 6G TIG process with open root, fill, and cap.
Essential Duties
Perform welding using MIG/Flux Core or TIG processes on 2” S160 pipe in various positions, including 6G.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications.
Inspect completed welds for accuracy, quality, and adherence to standards.
Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment safely and efficiently.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Maintain a clean and safe work area following company safety protocols.
Requirements / Skills
Proven experience with MIG/Flux Core and/or TIG welding on pipe materials.
Must pass a 2” S160 rollout or 6G welding test (open root, fill, and cap).
Ability to interpret welding symbols and technical drawings.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Must follow all safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Certification in welding preferred but not required if experience is demonstrated.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
Must be able to stand, bend, and work in various positions for extended periods.
Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
Comfortable working in hot, confined, or elevated areas as needed.
