Job Title: Brazer Technician
Pay: $23/hr to $24/hr
Hours: 6am to 4:30pm Monday to Thursday (4 10's)
Open to people from Welding and HVAC School (or people with welding or HVAC experience)
We are seeking a skilled Brazer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will perform brazing tasks using a gas torch on copper materials, ensuring precise assembly of valves and components onto compressors and evaporators. This role requires working with power tools, hand tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
Responsibilities
Perform brazing using a gas torch on copper materials with filler metals.
Assemble valves and components onto compressors and evaporators using power and hand tools.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and shop orders.
Conduct first article inspections and report any defects or issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Collaborate with team members across shifts and departments.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and problem‑solving.
Use ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools to track production and inventory.
Be flexible to train across different areas and support other shifts as needed.
Essential Skills
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs.
Standing for the majority of the day.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to see the full spectrum of colors.
Experience with power tools and hand tools for assembly.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
No prior brazing experience required; candidates can be students from a welding or brazing program.
Brazing experience is a plus, especially from plumbing or manufacturing.
Blueprint reading ability from school or on‑the‑job experience.
Safety shoes required; all other personal protective equipment provided.

Work Environment Our work environment includes a modern, air‑conditioned manufacturing facility equipped with industry 4.0 technology. The role requires physical activity such as lifting up to 45 pounds, standing for the majority of the day, and using personal protection equipment. Dress code includes steel toe shoes, jeans or work pants, and a t‑shirt or polo. The standard work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional extended hours as needed. Paid RSI training is required in Phoenix on specified dates.
