You'll be responsible for high‑quality rough and finish installations while also mentoring apprentices and possibly running a small crew. Responsibilities
Perform rough‑in and finish electrical work in commercial and retail environments
Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
Install conduit, wiring, lighting systems, and switchgear
Work safely on lifts, ladders, and at heights
Troubleshoot electrical systems and resolve issues efficiently
Collaborate with project leads and coordinate small crews (2–5 electricians, if applicable)
Mentor and train apprentice electricians in field practices and safety standards
Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean job site
Ensure full compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
Qualifications
Must have a valid MI Journeymen License
2+ years of commercial and industrial electrical experience
Proficient in both rough and finished electrical installation
Experience working at heights using lifts and ladders
Ability to lead and manage a small team (preferred for more experienced hires)
Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Reliable transportation required
Residential‑only experience is not applicable
