Position Summary The MDU (Multiple Dwelling Unit) Account Manager is responsible for driving broadband and telecommunications sales growth within the multi‑family and new construction market. This role focuses on identifying, developing, and managing strategic relationships with property owners, developers, and management firms to expand network reach and subscriber penetration. The Account Manager leads end‑to‑end sales engagement—from opportunity identification through contract negotiation and coordination with network build and operations—to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.

Essential Functions
Market Development & Presence
Establish and maintain a strong presence within the MDU and new-build markets through networking, industry events, and partnership outreach.
Proactively identify and promote awareness of new construction and redevelopment projects to position the company as the provider of choice for fiber and broadband services.
Sales Funnel Growth & Opportunity Management
Build and manage a robust pipeline of MDU opportunities, including bulk and retail service agreements.
Utilize CRM tools and market analytics to qualify leads, track progress, and achieve targeted growth in subscriber and suite activations.
Agreement Negotiation & Execution
Negotiate bulk, marketing, and access agreements with property developers, HOAs, and property management companies.
Partner with legal and finance teams to ensure all agreements meet company standards, compliance, and profitability goals.
Project Coordination & Network Delivery
Collaborate with network build, construction, and provisioning teams to transition signed opportunities into executed projects.
Monitor project timelines and ensure properties are service-ready in alignment with developer and construction schedules.
Sales Collaboration & Penetration Initiatives
Partner with residential and vendor sales channels to drive subscriber penetration and revenue within assigned MDU properties.
Provide strategic insight and coordination to ensure marketing campaigns and property-level activities support growth objectives.
Leadership, Coaching & Mentorship
Mentor and support account executives and sales representatives to strengthen sales effectiveness within the MDU channel.
Share best practices and provide field coaching to improve team performance and customer engagement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
In-depth understanding of fiber, broadband, and telecommunications products and infrastructure.
Proven relationship-building and negotiation skills at the executive and property management levels.
Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field preferred.
5+ years of B2B or B2C sales/account management experience within the telecommunications, broadband, or cable industry.
Demonstrated success negotiating and managing bulk and access agreements with multi‑unit properties or developers.
Experience working cross-functionally with network construction and provisioning teams is strongly preferred.
Working Environment
Must be able to work overtime with and without notice.
Mix of office and field work.
Physical Demands
Must be able to spend extended hours using a computer/keyboard and/or phone.
Involves prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
