to maintain and operate store vehicles to deliver parts and products to professional customers in a safe and efficient manner. Bilingual candidates are encouraged.
Essential Job Functions
Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently.
Use delivery fleet hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily inspections.
Keep delivery vehicles clean, maintained, and secure; manage keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies.
Pick up customer returns, fill out driver return slips, and communicate any problems or special needs to store management.
Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or vehicle damage immediately to store manager.
Ensure fuel tank is filled and lock and secure vehicle at end of day’s business.
Clock in/out according to company policy.
Assist with customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, errands, and core returns as required.
May occasionally serve as a cashier or help with merchandising tasks when business dictates.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Adaptive to changing delivery situations.
Driving record meets the 14/18‑point record system standard.
Legally required state driver’s license and meet company mandated driving eligibility requirements.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Familiar with automotive parts.
Ability to operate other light store equipment.
Fluency in multiple languages; Spanish is highly desired.
