The Opportunity As the
Regional Oncology/Hematology Clinic & Infusion Center Operations Manager , you’ll provide
day‑to‑day operational leadership
across multiple physician oncology clinics and hospital‑based infusion centers. You’ll ensure exceptional patient care, clinical quality, and operational efficiency – all while supporting and empowering administrative and clinical teams to perform at their best.
Oversee
staffing, scheduling, and workflow
for clinics and infusion centers
Maintain and implement clinic and hospital‑based
policies, procedures, and safety standards
Conduct
rounds with staff and physicians
to promote communication and engagement
Monitor
patient experience metrics
and lead quality‑improvement initiatives
Hire, train, evaluate, and develop high‑performing teams
Ensure optimal
staffing mix
and team assignments based on patient volume and needs
Collaborate with leadership, medical staff, and other departments for seamless care coordination
Support use of
EMR systems and clinical applications
through staff training and oversight
You will report directly to the
Director of Clinical Services
and play a critical role in aligning operational performance with the organization’s mission and goals.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Licensure:
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required; Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) preferred
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in a related healthcare field (oncology experience preferred)
Minimum 2 years in a leadership or managerial role within a multi‑physician practice
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with healthcare regulations, EMR systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Additional:
Valid Tennessee driver’s license and insurance coverage meeting organizational standards
Life in East Tennessee
