Our client, a growing Managed Services Provider with a strong presence in Alaska and is seeking a NOC Engineer to support and monitor critical customer networks. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with experience in Cisco and Fortinet environments, particularly within OT and Oil & Gas infrastructures, who is looking to grow into a Senior Network Engineer position.
Responsibilities
Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple client environments
Provide Tier 2 NOC support for incidents related to routing, switching, firewalls, and connectivity
Support and maintain Fortinet and Cisco network and security platforms
Work within OT and Oil & Gas environments, ensuring network stability, uptime, and security
Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests while meeting SLA requirements
Perform root cause analysis and assist with long-term remediation efforts
Collaborate with senior engineers on escalated issues and network improvement projects
Document network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures
Required Skills
2+ years of experience in a NOC or network support role within an MSP or enterprise environment
Hands‑on experience with Cisco (routing & switching) and Fortinet (FortiGate, FortiManager, FortiAnalyzer)
Exposure to or experience supporting OT / Industrial / Oil & Gas networks
Strong troubleshooting skills across LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies
Understanding of network monitoring tools and ticketing systems
