Essential General Manager restaurant job duties:
Manage, train, monitor, and coach Crew/ Team members
Direct and assign drive-in restaurant employees to ensure operational standards are met
Adhere to and monitor employee compliance of policies and practices
Perform restaurant opening and/or closing duties
Prepare employee work schedules and make appropriate adjustments
Monitor and maintain restaurant inventory levels
Complete and maintain all employment and payroll records
Reinforce a customer service mentality and resolve guest requests
Interview and hire restaurant crew and management team members
Prepare operational reports and develop action plans
Develop and implement a marketing plan
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of two (2) years of restaurant management experience
Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, and selection practices
Leadership and supervisory practices and skills
Basic accounting and computer skills
Problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict-resolution skills
Willingness to abide by appearance and hygiene standards
