Full-Time About this role:
An Oral Surgery Coordinator gathers and accurately records oral surgery, medical and insurance information from patients. They will be responsible for coordinating and managing the Oral Surgeon Board. The Coordinator will guide the patient through the new patient process, starting from the time of making the appointment until they arrive for their appointment. Will be responsible to ensure that the patient/parent are informed of all aspects of treatment such as insurance, cost and expectations. Most importantly, they will ensure that the patient’s needs, wants and concerns are addressed prior to starting. Job Responsibilities: Greet and check in patients and handout necessary paperwork Confirm patients insurance coverage eligibility / update changes prior to their visit Build patient or family file in system Scan and file patient records Schedule and confirm appointments Answer incoming calls Handle routine questions about appointment, policies, insurance and treatments Manage consent forms Collect fees per patients insurance Other duties as assigned Basic Qualifications:
Bilingual – Fluent in English and Spanish Ability to work with all age groups Flexible schedule Able to travel to offices within the DFW area or 3 hour radius Reliable Transportation Able to carry / transport office and Doctor equipment Key Skills and Abilities, Characteristics of a Good Fit:
