Contract Logistics Team Lead – Casa Grande, AZ
As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations for our customers. By doing so with precision, you contribute to the success of your team, and to the day‑to‑day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centres. For example, storing and delivering delicate flowers and fresh ingredients to local stores for everyday lunches and family celebrations.
Located in Casa Grande, AZ, the Warehouse Team Lead reports to a Manager and has general responsibility for coordinating and supervising daily logistics activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of their assigned area.
How you create impact
Coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments and oversee the process.
Verify required paperwork with drivers, ensuring all product is counted and damage free.
Ensure efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment.
Verify work schedules are correctly assigned and implemented.
Maintain product locator system.
Rotate and consolidate product to improve space throughout warehouse.
Complete all necessary records and reports.
Be a site subject matter expert for Dangerous Goods questions and issues.
What we would like you to bring
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of experience in a warehouse environment.
1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
Ability to establish priorities and accomplish multiple tasks.
Basic technical and math skills.
