Position Overview
Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Production Supervisor – 1st Shift.
This position is ONSITE Monday–Thursday 5:30 am–3:30 pm at our Greenwood, SC Eaton facility.
The role involves supervising personnel and production activities across major manufacturing functions such as assembly, warehousing, fabrication, painting, shipping, or traffic. It requires planning and coordinating manufacturing schedules to meet customer requirements and company commitments, managing unit operations and schedules, and ensuring efficient use of personnel, materials, equipment, and other resources within defined production or operational costs. Expected annual salary range: $86,000–$126,000; eligible for variable incentive program.
Responsibilities
Think and act both tactically and strategically to meet production demands, solve issues, and drive improvements through daily cross‑functional team communication.
Contribute to a safe, engaged, and inclusive work culture by ensuring compliance with all policies, including proper use of personal protective equipment and equipment operation, and performing 5S duties.
Ensure that production demands for the department are met and that team leaders understand their roles in order fulfillment.
Serve as a central point of contact for management regarding production issues in your functional area.
Participate in the assessment, selection, training, coaching, and development of employees and foster strong employee performance.
Evaluate workload requirements and delegate tasks to ensure proper manning for production needs.
Investigate and solve quality issues; serve as a point of contact for quality resolution, working with the quality‑control team and reviewing quality trends.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Basic Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
Minimum of one year of manufacturing or leadership experience.
Must be able to work ONSITE Monday–Thursday 5:30 am–3:30 pm.
Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the Greenwood, SC work location will be considered (active‑Duty military service members are exempt).
Position does not provide immigration sponsorship or support.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited institution.
Previous leadership experience in an engineering, operations, and/or manufacturing environment (Green Belt Certification preferred).
Experience working in assembly, fabrication, and/or shipping.
Experience in an ETO (engineered‑to‑order) environment.
Strong learning agility.
Project management experience.
