Key Responsibilities Lead Generation & Prospecting
Identify, research, and target potential B2B clients in domestic (South Africa) and international IT markets.
Generate leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events.
Client Acquisition & Business Development
Develop and execute strategies to acquire new IT B2B clients.
Build strong value propositions aligned with client business goals and technology requirements.
Sales Pipeline Management
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Ensure consistent follow-ups and timely closure of deals.
Market Expansion
Support company growth by exploring new markets, regions, and IT verticals within South Africa and globally.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Ensure client satisfaction, retention, and account growth.
Proposal, Presentation & Negotiation
Prepare and deliver customized proposals, presentations, and business pitches.
Lead negotiations and close deals in line with company policies and commercial objectives.
Collaboration
Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to meet client requirements and expectations.
Reporting & Target Achievement
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance insights.
Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Skills & Competencies
Strong verbal and written communication skills (English mandatory; additional South African languages are a plus).
Mandatory experience in IT B2B Sales / Business Development.
Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and deal-closing skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools (HubSpot preferred), MS Office, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and digital outreach platforms.
Ability to communicate confidently with domestic (South Africa) and international clients.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
4‑5 years of proven experience in IT B2B Sales / Business Development (SaaS / IT services / software products).
Experience handling South African and international clients is an advantage.
Willingness to travel within South Africa and internationally, as required.
