Compliance Analyst – Customs Brokerage

About the Role:
The Compliance Analyst will support nationwide customs brokerage operations by ensuring full adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) regulations and internal compliance standards. This role works closely with branch teams, compliance leadership, and clients to manage daily compliance activity, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where required.
This is a
full-time, onsite position
and is well-suited to an experienced customs compliance professional who is comfortable operating in a structured, fast‑paced brokerage environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and manage daily CBP statements across all branches, ensuring same‑day acceptance and resolution
Review and remove entries from statements where branch updates are required
Manage onboarding for new import and warehouse clients, including document vetting and account setup in CargoWise
Monitor, set up, renew, and manage continuous and single entry bonds
Issue insufficient bond notices and coordinate bond increases with importers and surety providers
Run and distribute daily and weekly compliance reports, ensuring timely branch action
Conduct branch‑level compliance audits and compile findings for senior management
Support post‑entry activities including PSCs, protests, TIB closures, reconciliations, drawback, and refunds
Assist with ACE portal reporting, maintenance, and protest processes
Support compliance training initiatives and monthly compliance calls
Act as backup support for statement processing and new client onboarding as required
Candidate Requirements
Minimum
5 years’ experience
in customs brokerage compliance and operations
Strong working knowledge of CBP regulations, bonds, post‑entry processes, and audits
Hands‑on CargoWise experience is required
Experience working with ACE portal reporting and compliance tools
Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze compliance data
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Professional communication skills and a collaborative working style
Ability to work independently in a structured, compliance‑focused environment
