Advanced Nurse Practitioner Full time/Part time

Brayford Medical Practice is a well-established, friendly city practice with a stable team and a patient list of approximately 10,800. We are seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join us on a permanent basis, working 15 to 37.5 hours per week (flexible by agreement).
This is a well-supported role designed to allow ANPs to work autonomously, safely, and sustainably, as part of a genuine multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job The role
Independent clinical management of acute, same-day and routine presentations within agreed scope of practice
Supported autonomy with approachable GPs available for advice
Time built into sessions for admin, results, and follow-up
Opportunity to shape and develop the ANP role within the practice

Job responsibilities Key Responsibilities
Independently assess, diagnose, treat, and manage patients presenting with undifferentiated and differentiated conditions
Manage acute, same-day, and routine presentations in line with agreed clinical scope and competencies
Prescribe medications appropriately as an independent prescriber
Request, interpret, and act upon diagnostic tests and investigations
Provide follow-up care, safety-netting, and onward referrals as appropriate
Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records using SystmOne
Person Specification
Registered Nurse (NMC) with Advanced Practice qualification (Masters level or equivalent)
Significant post-registration clinical experience, ideally in primary care or urgent care
Ability to work autonomously and manage clinical risk
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to patient-centred care and teamwork
Specialist interest relevant to primary care
Experience using SystmOne
Leadership or mentoring experience
