We are seeking a skilled and experienced Process Engineer to join our team specializing in injection molding. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in optimizing manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality, and driving continuous improvement in our operations. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to meet production goals while maintaining a focus on efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization and Continuous Improvement: * Develop, evaluate, and optimize injection molding processes to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times. * Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues to ensure consistent quality and minimize downtime. * Lead continuous improvement initiatives, including Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing techniques. * Identify opportunities for cost savings and waste reduction in the manufacturing process.
Tooling and Equipment: * Collaborate with tooling engineers and project managers to design, maintain, and improve molds and related equipment. * Specify and recommend new machinery or upgrades to existing equipment for improved performance.
Quality Assurance: * Monitor and analyze production data to ensure products meet quality standards and customer specifications. * Implement corrective actions and process adjustments as needed to address quality concerns.
Training and Documentation: * Train machine operators and technicians on proper operating procedures and best practices. * Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Compliance and Safety: * Ensure all processes comply with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. * Participate in safety audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Experience: 3+ years of experience in injection molding or a similar manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in injection molding machine operation and process setup. Familiarity with mold design, material selection, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of CAD software and manufacturing simulation tools is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
