Job Description The Barista is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention toward each customer. They educate customers about specialty drinks, coffees, and food items, accurately enter sales orders into the cash register, and complete transactions in a courteous manner. The Barista assists in maintaining the highest quality and sanitation standards.
Education
Required: None
Preferred: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Experience
Preferred: 1+ years experience in food services, general cleaning, and sanitation OR previous experience as a Barista
Skills
Must be 16 years of age or older
Basic reading and writing skills and able to do simple math
Excellent communication skills
Able to follow directions and work together as a team player
Able to stand for long periods of time
Able to move quickly
Excellent customer service skills
Licensure / Certification / Registration N/A
