Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Pest Control Technician will be responsible for guiding extermination processes, establishing new business opportunities, following safety procedures, maintaining inventory, managing schedules, and addressing customer needs on‑site.
Responsibilities
Provide guidance for the best extermination processes for the identified infestation source and determine whether the process will include pesticide use, mechanical traps, blockages, or other pest control methods.
Establish contact with potential customers to create new business opportunities.
Follow safety procedures and product instructions at all times when using fumigants, pesticides, and power‑spraying equipment, such as wearing protective gear.
Maintain proper inventory of tools, equipment, and materials in the company vehicle.
Manage schedule and route to ensure services are completed in a timely manner.
Address customer needs and optimize their program on‑site.
Requirements
A driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer service experience.
Valid Applicator’s License.
Sales experience is an asset.
Transferable Experience
Lawn care, route sales, route service, field sales, field service, service technician, territory representative, restaurant manager, restaurant server, construction, hotel manager, sales, customer service.
