Position:
Non CDL Driver I
– deliver foodservice products with a high level of service to customers. Company vehicle GVW up to 14,900.
Pay: $26.50–$28.50 per hour. Schedule: Full‑time, Monday–Friday. Overtime, incentive compensation, and benefits available.
Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle limited to a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) of 14,900.
Assign and complete stops to deliver foodservice products with a high level of service.
Load, unload and transport deliveries, including use of hand trucks and safe lifting techniques.
Accurately record delivery information using a hand scanner and complete all required documentation.
Monitor refrigeration system, perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections, and follow all DOT regulations.
Communicate delivery or customer issues to the appropriate authority (Customer Service, Territory Manager, Transportation Supervisor).
Collect payments, manage returns and process paperwork, damaged merchandise, and damaged product.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid U.S. driver’s license issued by the state of legal residence with required endorsements.
No more than two traffic violations in the past two years, no DUI convictions in past three years, no license suspensions in past three years.
Must pass DOT physical and pre‑employment testing (drug screen, background check).
One year of multi‑stop delivery experience preferred; six months local delivery and/or foodservice experience acceptable.
Hand cart/hand truck delivery experience preferred.
Basic math skills and proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Basic knowledge of area and map reading.
