Position Description
Immediate opening for a Dedicated SOLO Non CDL Truck Driver to join Ryder in West Chester, OH.
Pay
Driver Positions Pay Weekly: $963 or more per week
Hours per week: 42 + hours per week
Solo Miles Pay: $0.34 per Mile with 1033 Miles per Week
Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per Stop with 51 Stops per Week
Paid Training
Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends
Start Time: Early AM
Route & Equipment
Deliver SOLO to: 80 mile radius of West Chester, OH
Route: Local Home Daily
Truck Type: Box Truck – 16', 22', & 26'
Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate & Hand Truck
Ryder trains on all equipment needed for success
Freight: Touch – Auto Parts

Requirements
Minimum 21 years of age
Minimum of 6 months of verifiable driving experience
Pass a Ryder drug test
Must have verifiable driving experience for the applicable equipment (straight truck or box truck)
6 months’ experience in the past 3 years, or 2 years within the last 5 years, or 5 years within the last 10 years
Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
Pass a DOT physical
Pass a Ryder road test
Must have a valid driver’s license
Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
Ability to read, interpret, and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
Important Note Some positions require additional screening that may include employment and education verification, motor vehicle records check, road test, and/or badging or background requirements of the customer to which you are assigned.
Responsibilities
Safely drive the vehicle within and comply with safety regulations, continuous training and customer service standards.
Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, agency rules, standards and guidelines.
Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards.
Maintaining accurate records; loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer.
Other tasks as assigned.
