Responsibilities
Performs a variety of functions in inbound area, stock management area, outbound area, involving material handling, packaging, applying correct labels, confirming part identity by comparing details, receiving, assembling and storage of parts, materials and products.
Functions may include preparing parts/materials for shipment, packing material, verifying materials and quantities, maintaining inventory, verifying stock counts, moving parts and materials to proper areas.
Operates a variety of hand‑powered material handling and semi‑automated/automated packaging equipment as well as scales, postage meters, conveyor systems.
Performs work from printed work order copies as well as various other written and verbal instructions.
Ability to use computer terminals and RF scanners.
Maintains a variety of records pertaining to receiving, stock management, inventory, shipping.
Other Workplace Considerations
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
Job duties require use of arithmetic, reading, writing, and measuring equipment.
Must be able to work required shift, overtime, and Saturdays as required, and reasonable overtime up to and including Sundays.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
0 – 6+ months of warehouse experience
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft PC Outlook Office (mainly Excel) and experience with WMS DLX, WMS BY, SAP software
Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
Salary Hourly wage: $19.50
