Primary Function

Maintenance and setup Welding equipment - finetune welding parameters at customer locations.

Essential Functions

Installation & Commissioning

Install and configure welding equipment on Zeman machines.

Set up and fine-tune welding parameters at customer sites.

Quality Improvement

Optimize welding quality on existing machines.

Implement and enhance welding procedures for new machines.

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

Perform maintenance, repairs, and replacements of welding machines.

Conduct error analysis on defective machines and components .

Customer Support

Provide technical assistance via phone and written communication.

Deliver on-site support for complex issues when required

Weld procedure optimization.

Documentation & Continuous Improvement

Improve technical documentation and capture lessons learned.

Identify development needs to further enhance welding quality.

Collaboration

Work closely with the development team to test and validate new features.

Cooperate with service, support, and sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Travel

Willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time.

Required Skills

5+ years welding experience

Powerwave knowledge required

Knowledge about welding spcifications/codes

Knowledge about welding procedures

Great knowledge in setting up welding machines.

Team-oriented as well as independent work and solving problems with the other departments (design, construction, programmers)

Computer skills (MS Office)

Willingness to travel internationally

Basic technical understanding of all areas (software, electrics, mechanics)

Professional experience as service technician/engineer in international field service

High degree of independence and flexibility

Customer orientation and pleasure in dealing with people
