BC Forward is looking for Recruiter in Chicago, IL - Onsite
Job Title: Recruiter
Location: Chicago, IL 60603
Duration: 03 month contract and possibility for extension or conversion to FTE
Pay rate: $40.00/hr. on W2
Overview:
Seeking senior-level, high-caliber recruiters with deep experience in full-cycle recruiting for high-level technical roles. This role focuses on quality over volume, partnering closely with hiring managers to recruit VP-level and other senior technical talent, particularly within design and UX disciplines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for senior and executive-level technical roles
- Partner with hiring managers to conduct intake discussions and define hiring strategies
- Source, evaluate, and interview candidates with a strong focus on culture fit, professionalism, and communication
- Assess technical talent, including reviewing and evaluating UX/design portfolios
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear, well-articulated assessments
- Run offer processes, including compensation discussions, negotiations, and high-tech offers
- Discuss and explain restricted stock units (RSUs) and other equity components with candidates
- Maintain strong candidate engagement throughout the recruiting lifecycle
- Utilize ATS (Oracle/proprietary systems similar to Greenhouse or Workday) to manage requisitions, candidate movement, and documentation
- Leverage LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing tools
- Manage approximately 18–21 requisitions concurrently
- Deliver approximately 5 hires per month after ramp-up
Requirements:
- 6+ years of recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on senior-level and executive technical recruiting
- Experience recruiting high-level roles (VP-level or equivalent); high-volume recruiting backgrounds not preferred
- Background in high-tech companies or technical recruiting agencies strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate UX/design portfolios and understand design interview processes
- Strong technical acumen and ability to recruit across multiple technical disciplines
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to ask probing questions and assess both technical competence and cultural alignment
- Experience negotiating offers and managing end-to-end offer cycles
- Familiarity with ATS platforms (Oracle, Greenhouse, Workday, or similar)
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Willingness and ability to work on-site five days per week
