• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 12+ month contract
• W2 employment
ROLE IMPACT The Senior Collector supports customers through the reinstatement and redemption process while ensuring compliance with all applicable state regulations. This position serves as a key contact for external customers, internal teams, and asset recovery vendors by providing timely, accurate information related to asset recovery, repossession, and account reinstatement. Success in this role is measured by service quality, compliance accuracy, and resolution efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Handle inbound calls from customers regarding reinstatement and redemption of assets, providing clear and compliant guidance. • Communicate with internal departments to resolve account inquiries and support asset recovery efforts. • Respond promptly and accurately to vendor and partner inquiries related to asset recovery activities. • Maintain documentation in accordance with company policies and applicable state regulations. • Ensure all communications and actions align with legal and compliance standards for collections and repossessions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • 2+ years of experience in AUTOMOTIVE collections, redemptions, or reinstatement processing - REQUIRED • Strong knowledge of asset recovery or repossession procedures preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable handling inbound customer calls. • Ability to multitask while maintaining compliance accuracy and professional service delivery.
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) • CRM or collection management systems (e.g., CUBS, Fiserv, DMS platforms) • Call center and documentation platforms
PREFERRED SKILLS • Prior experience in financial services or auto finance environment. • Familiarity with state-specific laws governing repossession and redemption. • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
