Senior Office Service Specialist

On-Site Services Specialist 3+Month Contract Baltimore, MD (onsite) Overview: Provides operations functions in high-volume copying, document imaging, mail management, and related software. Performs bindery, shipping/receiving, filing, reception, call center, housekeeping, and light building maintenance tasks as needed. Supports a hospital environment and may require lifting or moving printers and other equipment. Responsibilities: Operate high-volume copiers, document imaging systems, and document image handling software. Perform binding, finishing, quality checks, and maintenance of copiers. Open, save, transfer PC files, and access document management systems. Handle mail, fax, shipping, receiving, and distribution of supplies. Maintain records, billing logs, meter logs, service logs, and inventory reports. Deliver completed jobs to designated locations and respond to service requests. Set up meeting rooms and conference rooms; assist with building moves and light maintenance. Perform filing, archiving, and purging of documents. Use bindery equipment, shrink-wrap machine, paper cutter, hole driller, tape machine, stackers, electric stapler, scales, fax machine, postage meter, and calculators. Perform other duties as assigned, including cleaning and occasional off-hour emergency response. Requirements: High school diploma or GED. 1–2 years of experience in a related field; copy center experience preferred. Excellent customer service and organizational skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Basic PC skills, MS Office, email, math, and filing abilities. Ability to operate office machines and technical equipment. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, lift 50–55 lbs, and push/pull equipment weighing up to 700 lbs. Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced hospital environment.
