ROLE IMPACT
CornerStone Staffing is seeking an
Account Coordinator
to support a
brand-new customer account
currently in the onboarding phase. This position is ideal for someone with
logistics experience
who enjoys working in a fast-paced and evolving environment. The Account Coordinator will play a key role in managing the shipment lifecycle, coordinating logistics activities, and ensuring that freight is transported efficiently and profitably while maintaining excellent customer service. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and operational success for this new account.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate and direct all activities related to shipment processes from initial pickup through proof of delivery Monitor and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery using the most cost-effective transportation methods Maintain proactive communication with customers regarding shipment status and resolve service issues promptly Collaborate with internal teams and carriers to optimize shipment handling and performance Write and maintain detailed work procedures and process documentation for the new account Ensure compliance with account-specific requirements and maintain accurate documentation throughout the shipment lifecycle
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year of office or account services experience ( logistics or transportation industry experience strongly preferred ) High School Diploma or GED required Must pass a clear criminal background check Must pass a clear drug screen
CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) Shipment tracking platforms Internal logistics and CRM systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
Previous experience in logistics, shipping coordination, or transportation management Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to document processes and write clear, detailed procedures Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
