About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President / Director of Construction to provide executive leadership and strategic direction for its construction operations. The successful candidate will be tasked with leading and growing the business unit, with a focus on expanding the company's footprint and ensuring top-quality project delivery across commercial and residential sectors. Key responsibilities include overseeing a team of project managers, developing and executing business growth strategies, managing the full project life cycle, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role also involves identifying new market opportunities and representing the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive experience in construction management, with at least 5 years' in a senior leadership role, and a strong background in commercial construction. A deep understanding of construction operations, project controls, and financial management is essential, as is a proven track record of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills, and will hold a Bachelor's degree in a related field. A Master's degree is preferred, and the role requires a willingness to travel across the relevant states as needed.
