Role:- Data Analyst Mainframe Location:- Remote Duration:Months Interview Process: 1 round via video. Will be very technical. Project: Candidates will provides mainframe development and analysis for EDW with highly complex data model associate with to 100+ data sources. Team: 1 team lead, 6 senior data analysts. Ideal Candidate Background: Candidate will have extensive technical expertise in mainframe environment and analytic experience through database querying with healthcare data. TOP REQUIREMENT: Mainframe environment (with working knowledge of COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL and TSO. What will set candidates apart: Technical mainframe knowledge in healthcare environment. Required:

• Five (5) years-experience working in a mainframe environment (with working knowledge of COBOL, VSAM file structures, JCL and TSO) Intermediate level experience with developing program specifications, pseudo code, or logic diagrams -including Warnier-Orr diagrams to identify system changes.
• Five (5) years' experience with front-end data warehouse or similar processing which includes extracting data for large files from various sources, cleansing data, and preparing the data for loading into a data warehouse.
• Five (5) years' experience as an analyst-programmer performing various system development life cycle functions including project planning, requirements analysis, program specifications, coding, testing, and implementation.
• Five (5) years' experience working with statistical reporting data tools such as SAS for large volume databases developing and maintaining production reports.
• Experience with paid and denied claims (diagnosis codes, procedure codes, etc.) and data standards (Protected Health Information, privacy standards, HIPAA data elements, and code sets.)
