Position: Project Manager Location: Charlotte, North Carolina(Hybrid) Duration: 12+ months Tax Term: W2 only Job ID: We need a Project Manager who's hands-on with data defects, data issues, and remediation. Project Details:
- This candidate will be working with the Data Management Operations Team to support FRY14 data quality, reporting and regulatory remediation and implement sustainable CBO booking and servicing processes and controls going forward.
- This candidate will be responsible for executing on regulatory deliverables and remediating defects on time in coordination with the CB Data Team, CBO Production SMEs, and BCMs.
- Serve as a liaison to CBO teams, addressing inquiries related to FRY14 data elements, procedures, controls, defects, issues, and operational risk events (OREs).
- Provide timely support for oversight testing and requests from CBL, DMI, Audit, COSO, Integration Testing and Validation, and regulatory bodies.

- Partner with Commercial Bank Data and CBO Booking and Servicing teams to identify and resolve root causes of FRY14 data defects and issues.
- Build and maintain strong partnerships across CBO Booking and Servicing, CIBLO, Commercial Bank Lending, Corporate Investment Banking, Business Controls Management
- Ability to apply wholesale loan processing knowledge to be an advocate for CBO Production Subject Matter Experts and to collaborate with them on defect and issue resolution.
- Work within a small, high-performing team (5-7 members) supporting Commercial Banking's data analytics environment.
- Review incoming data defects and data quality issues, investigate root causes, and drive each issue through full remediation.
- Pull documentation from ICMP and perform research with operational teams to validate procedures, controls, and data flows.
- Log, track, document, and close out issues consistently. Expect to manageactive items at any given time.
- Update BAU playbooks and process documentation as controls or procedures change.
- When a request comes in, identify the correct LOB/product owners, bring the right stakeholders to the table, and coordinate next steps.
- Validate that controls and procedures are accurate and current. Collect all required evidence to close each defect or issue.
- Execute anywhere from 1 to 7 tasks per issue, depending on complexity.
- Manage spikes in defect volume during quarter-end cycles. Maintain a disciplined handle on the overall book of work.
- Strong experience in Project Management experience with experience in identifying data defects, issues and remediating those
- Data Management and Regulatory Reporting (FRY14, 2052A) a plus.
- Strong organizational skills a must and able to keep track and manage multiple requests and priorities.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively with Data Management Operations and Commercial Banking Operations Subject Matter Experts (SME)
