Tasus is hiring: Quality Manufacturing Associate - 1st Shift in Bloomington

Job purpose • A QMA 1 is responsible for operating one or more plastic injection molding machines or auxiliary equipment. QMA will inspect, perform value added work and pack parts accordingly. Duties and responsibilities

• Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.
• Understand and follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Complete shift/press paperwork as required
• Ability to walk medium distances within press cycle times
• Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management System
• Must be able to take directions well.
• Participate in monthly meetings and TPS projects.
• Must be able to solve problems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work in team environment and maintain positive attitude
• Ability to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and procedures
• Good attention to detail

Working conditions

• Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.
• Eight hours shifts, mandatory overtime when required

Physical requirements

• Standing for long periods of time
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds.
• Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, kneel and squat.
