About the Role
The Company is in need of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strong background in strategic financial leadership and operational oversight, particularly within the construction industry. The CFO will be tasked with directing all financial activities, including the development and monitoring of budgets, long-term financial plans, and capital allocation strategies. This role demands a proven ability to manage cash flow, ensure financial reporting is in line with GAAP/IFRS, and analyze financial performance to meet organizational objectives. The successful candidate will also be responsible for risk management, and process improvement, and will serve as a key liaison between finance, operations, and executive leadership.
Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of 5 years' experience in executive financial leadership roles and a deep understanding of financial oversight, budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting. Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and scenario analysis is essential, as is a strong background in delegation, team building, and mentoring. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in a relevant field, a CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification, and experience with financial IT systems. While not mandatory, experience in mergers and acquisitions, investor relations, and capital raising, as well as a background in construction accounting or industry-specific financial management, are considered advantageous.
