About the Role

The Company is seeking an SVP for its Markets E-Trading Risk and Controls (NAM) team. This First-Line risk team is integral to the Global Markets COO function, working closely with E-Trading businesses, CAOs, and second-line functions to implement the E-Trading Risk Framework. The successful candidate will be responsible for real-time monitoring of algorithmic trading activities, governance and oversight of E-Trading businesses, project management of key initiatives, and the design and maintenance of E-Trading controls. This role requires a subject matter expert with a deep understanding of electronic trading risks, controls, and market structure, and at least 10 years of relevant work experience in business risk and controls, compliance, or audit.

Key responsibilities for the SVP include leading market access reviews, ensuring adherence to market access controls, and providing expert guidance on the E-Trading governance framework. The role also involves leading the issue management workstream, developing and managing key relationships with E-Trading businesses, technology, risk, and compliance functions, and representing the team at governance forums. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in E-Trading regulation, experience in designing and managing centralized E-Trading tools, and a proven track record of problem-solving and process improvement. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and the candidate should demonstrate excellent communication, organizational influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
