*Clinic Director in Training – Senior/Lead Physical Therapist (Jefferson Park, Chicago)*

*We are seeking a Clinic Director with strong experience treating municipal employees, handling workers’ compensation cases, and preferably offering specialty skills such as dry needling, pelvic health, and/or sports medicine.* This role is ideal for a motivated clinician who loves both patient care and leadership and wants to grow within a high-performing FYZICAL location.
FYZICAL Chicago is expanding our Jefferson Park clinic, and we’re looking for an experienced PT leader who will drive clinical excellence, mentor our team, and contribute to strategic growth in one of Chicago’s most active communities.
*What You’ll DoLeadership & Clinic Operations*
* Manage daily operations of the Jefferson Park clinic, ensuring an efficient and patient-centered environment.
* Lead, mentor, and develop a team of clinicians and support staff.
* Set, track, and achieve productivity, growth, and financial targets.
* Collaborate with ownership and area leadership to implement operational improvements and strategic initiatives.
* Ensure full compliance with FYZICAL standards, Illinois state regulations, and billing/documentation requirements.
*Clinical Responsibilities*
* Maintain a full caseload (10–12 patients/day), demonstrating excellence in outpatient orthopedics, balance, and vestibular rehabilitation.
* Provide specialized care when qualified (e.g., *dry needling, pelvic health, sports medicine*).
* Manage workers’ comp cases and coordinate with municipal departments as appropriate.
* Conduct documentation audits, support quality assurance processes, and foster continuous clinical growth among staff.
* Uphold FYZICAL’s clinical systems, including the 10-point management system and leadership pillars.
*Business & Performance Management*
* Track financial performance, KPI metrics, therapist utilization, and patient visit averages.
* Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to maintain referral relationships—including municipal contacts—and support clinic growth initiatives.
* Participate in forecasting, budgeting, and long-term strategic planning.
*Team Development & Culture*
* Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing team members aligned with FYZICAL’s culture.
* Conduct performance reviews and create individualized development plans.
* Foster a collaborative, positive, accountability-driven clinic environment.
*What We’re Looking For*
* Licensed *Physical Therapist* (MPT/DPT) in good standing with IDFPR.
* 3–5 years of outpatient experience; leadership experience preferred.
* Experience working with *municipalities and workers’ compensation* is highly valued.
* Advanced or specialty certifications welcomed (*dry needling, pelvic health, sports medicine*, etc.).
* Ability to manage a full caseload while leading clinic operations.
* Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
* Demonstrated success in meeting production goals and driving team performance.
