Role OverviewWe are looking for a Payroll & HR Specialist to assist with payroll execution and essential HR operations. This position is perfect for someone who is exceptionally organized, systems-focused, and process-oriented, with practical experience in payroll operations and compliance tracking. Responsibilities include maintaining HR systems, supporting training and compliance tracking, executing onboarding processes, and ensuring the smooth and accurate functioning of HR procedures.
This position emphasizes operational excellence and execution, working closely with the HR Generalist and the HR leadership team.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage and maintain HR systems, including HRIS, LMS, and ticketing platforms.
- Assist with payroll processes by ensuring data accuracy, conducting audits, and generating reports.
- Keep precise employee records, including job changes and system access.
- Assign, monitor, and report on necessary training, certifications, and clearances.
- Proactively track expiration dates and follow up with employees and managers.
- Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes and documentation.
- Handle HR tickets and routine employee inquiries.
- Prepare and distribute communications and reminders regarding HR processes.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance documentation.
- Support HR projects, system improvements, and change initiatives.
- 2–4 years of experience in HR operations, administration, or systems support.
- Practical experience with HRIS, LMS platforms, ticketing systems, and Google Workspace.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple workflows.
- Comfortable managing confidential employee information.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Excels in structured, process-oriented environments.
- Enjoys taking ownership of systems and solving operational challenges.
