Manufacturing Project Engineer

The Manufacturing Project Engineer leads key manufacturing improvement initiatives that strengthen operational efficiency, production quality, and cost effectiveness. This role serves as a critical link between engineering, production, and management, driving continuous improvement and innovation across the plant.

• Manufacturing Industry experience
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies preferred.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• Manufacturing Industry experience.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
• Communicate and collaborate with other managers, suppliers, and contractors.
• Lead production improvement projects focused on process optimization, efficiency gains, and waste reduction.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve operational issues and implement sustainable solutions.
• Analyze production data to identify opportunities for performance improvement, cost reduction, and capacity expansion.
• Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, process control enhancements, and equipment upgrades.
• Drive cross-functional project teams to meet deliverables within defined timelines and budget constraints.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to ensure consistent achievement of production and reliability goals.
• Partner with operations teams to plan and coordinate shop floor activities that align with project milestones and production priorities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and quality control protocols.
• Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and presentations on project status.
• Proficiency in technical writing and project documentation.
