Accentuate Staffing has partnered with a global life sciences manufacturing organization to support the hiring of an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer. This role plays a critical part in delivering capital projects that support regulated production operations, reliability, and long-term site growth within a compliance-driven environment. The ideal candidate brings strong electrical and instrumentation engineering experience within complex industrial facilities and enjoys working across the full project lifecycle. This position requires hands-on technical execution, cross-functional coordination, and direct involvement in construction, commissioning, and startup activities while maintaining strict adherence to quality and regulatory expectations. Responsibilities: Lead electrical and instrumentation engineering activities across capital projects, managing assigned scope, schedule, and cost Design and review low-voltage power distribution, motor control systems, single-line diagrams, and control schematics Specify, select, and size instrumentation, control hardware, and electrical components in alignment with P&IDs and site standards Develop equipment specifications, bid packages, vendor evaluations, and support factory acceptance testing Provide on-site construction support, contractor coordination, technical clarification, and field supervision Execute equipment startup, commissioning protocols, documentation turnover, and ensure compliance with regulated manufacturing requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline 5+ years (Staff level) or 8+ years (Principal level) of relevant engineering experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or regulated manufacturing environments Strong working knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems, motor control, instrumentation, and NFPA 70 requirements Experience supporting capital projects through design, construction, startup, and commissioning phases Familiarity with GMP/GxP environments, including change control, validation, and quality oversight Professional Engineer license preferred; ability to support occasional international travel
