Tax Senior

We are seeking a technically proficient Tax Senior to join a high-growth CPA firm in Los Angeles. This is not a "big-firm silo" role; you will be hands-on with a diverse mix of clients in industries that require real technical depth, including commercial real estate, construction, and manufacturing. Location: Los Angeles, CA (Local candidates preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct-Hire with Benefits The Role & Client Mix: You will manage tax compliance and planning for a sophisticated client base across multiple states. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys technical research and managing complex entity structures. Pass-Through Expertise: Prepare and review complex federal and state returns for Partnerships and S-Corporations. Multi-State Strategy: Navigate multi-state filing requirements, nexus considerations, and complex allocation/apportionment issues. Industry Depth: Work directly with commercial real estate developers, construction contractors, and manufacturing/distribution companies. Tax Planning: Support transactional matters, projections, and proactive tax research for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. Required Qualifications & Technical Skills: The following experience is mandatory for this position: Minimum 5 years of tax experience in a CPA firm. Strong competency with pass-through entities. Solid knowledge of CCH ProSystem fx. Multi-state filing & Nexus experience. Experience in Real Estate or Construction.
